Paul Haberstroh, PhD - Lake Havasu, AZ
Dr. Paul R. Haberstroh is the chair of the Chemistry department at Mohave Community College in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.  He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Oceanography in 1994 from the University of Hawaii, his M.S. in Biological Oceanography from the University of Washington in 1984, and his B.A. in Biology from the University of California, San Diego, in 1978.  Dr. Haberstroh has conducted research in numerous locations including a coral reef system in Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, the Bransfield Strait region of the Antarctic Peninsula, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Puget Sound backwaters. Dr. Haberstroh continues to be an active researcher in the area of biogeochemistry, using synchrotron-based spectromicroscopy to examine the molecular character of highly-cyclized organics in marine and riverine sediments.
